In your package, you'll find a lateral support and a threaded rod. Here's how to proceed:
1) Attach the cross piece to the junction box—it simply screws in place for easy installation.
2) Insert the threaded rod into the center of the cross piece. This rod will pass through the light fixture.
3) Note: We don't provide a straight rod or coat hanger, but you can use one to help align everything.
4) Guide your wires through the threaded rod. Using a coat hanger can assist in sliding the light fixture onto the rod smoothly.
5) Secure the fixture with a nut and washer onto the rod. Use a socket wrench to tighten the nut completely.
6) Finally, attach the cover using RTV or another suitable adhesive.
